About InHealth: a Naturopathic Practice
InHealth is a naturopathic practice run by me, Brina Eidelson. I do the consultations and treatments, but I draw on other resources such as the services of a medical herbalist for tailor-made herbal remedies, and the knowledge of a group of diverse colleagues who pool their experiences for the benefit of all.
I developed the concept of InHealth in the belief that the quest for good health can be better served by an eclectic approach; no one therapy can achieve everything on its own. So I have studied many therapies in order to draw on this pool of knowledge and treat each client according to need.
I initially trained in massage, acupressure and aromatherapy at the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA) in London.
By chance I came across Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and was amazed to discover how effective it was not only for lymphoedema, but also for a number of chronic conditions that are the cause of pain and discomfort for many people. I did my advanced training in MLD in Austria in 1997.
Being frustrated at not being able to address the causes of disease I started my studies in Naturopathy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London. This involved training in pathophysiology, diagnosis and prevention, nutrition, detoxification, reflexology and finally acupuncture. I carried out further study of acupuncture at the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital in Nanjing, China.
In the quest to achieve balance in the inner terrain I trained in live and dry blood analysis and the application of complex homeopathic remedies. I was privileged to study this under Michael Coyle of Nulife Sciences and have also done advanced training in Canada.
I also use a Biomeridian MSAS machine to test for nutritional intolerances and deficiencies.
All this allows me to work more effectively at a much deeper level making a truly rounded practice in diagnosis and treatment.
I have also been practising Reiki for several years and find it very helpful in situations where energetic and emotional balance needs to be restored.
